Fatima ZIBOUH graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) with a Bachelor degree in Political Science and a Masters in Human Rights from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). She is currently pursuing a PhD in Political and Sociological Sciences at Université de Liege (ULg). Since March 2007, she has been a researcher for the Centre for Ethnic and Migration Studies at ULG. Her current research interests lie in the political participation of elected representatives from immigrant background in Brussels, the foreigners’ right to vote in Belgium and the integration Policy and ethnocultural diversity. She is a member of the cluster BE 3: Migration and citizenship: legal status, mobilisation and political participation of the Network of Excellence IMISCOE.
