The IMISCOE Research Network is happy to announce the Eighth Annual IMISCOE Conference. The event is open to everyone, registered network members and non-members alike. It will take place on 8 and 9 September 2011, at IMISCOE partner institute the Centre of Migration Research (CMR) at the University of Warsaw in Warsaw, Poland.
Under the title theme Dynamics of European Migration Space: Economy, Politics and Development, the conference will focus on the impact of migration upon development in the new EU member states and their direct Southern and Eastern neighbours.
The programme of the first day includes an opening session and two panels while the second day of the conference will host thematic workshops tailored to the current interests of IMISCOE members.
